After some recent heavy rains, and a leak into the bilge, and flooding around the fuel filling area, we were asked to diagnose and treat any possible water contamination in a 46' twin diesel launch. with a half-filled 1200L tank.

An Aquafighter Finger (this can absorb 200cc of water) was dropped into the tank, and left for a few days.

The news was positive - as you can see from the scales, there was only 30cc of water removed from the fuel.

The owner could rest assured that there would be no damage to his fuel injectors, and that there was no serious water contamination.

The Aquafighter Finger can be left in the tank until fully utilized, or kept in a sealed plastic bag until needed again.
